EHS Limited Lifetime Warranty
EHS stands behind the quality of its products. Subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions below, EHS will, upon assessment, repair or replace an EHS product found to have a defect in materials or workmanship during the applicable Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Limited Warranty Period
For purposes of this Limited Lifetime Warranty, the “lifetime” of an EHS product is limited to its maximum permitted service life. The maximum service life and Limited Warranty Period for EHS products is five (5) years from the date of purchase, or five (5) years from the date of manufacture if the date of purchase cannot be verified, whichever occurs first. An EHS Fall Arrest System (FAS) and all components within must be removed from service immediately if any of the following occurs before the applicable five-year period expires:
-
The product has arrested a fall
-
A pre-use inspection identifies damage, deterioration, a failed component, or any other condition that may affect safe performance
-
The product no longer meets the inspection, care, maintenance, or retirement requirements in the applicable EHS instructions.
Warning: Failure to remove an FAS device from service after five (5) years from the date of purchase—or, if the purchase date is unknown, five (5) years from the date of manufacture—or after it has arrested a fall, or inspection reveals component failure, may result in serious injury or death.
Warranty Exclusions
This Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover:
-
Normal wear and tear.
-
Cosmetic damage that does not affect product performance.
-
Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, improper storage, improper maintenance, alteration, modification, unauthorized repair, or use contrary to EHS instructions.
-
Damage caused by exposure to chemicals, excessive heat, ultraviolet degradation, moisture, contaminants, or other environmental conditions beyond the product’s intended use.
-
Any product involved in a fall event, removed from service following inspection, or used beyond its maximum service life.
-
Claims without reasonable proof of purchase when proof of purchase is required to establish warranty eligibility.
Important Safety Notice
